Missionary Work Supported by Grace

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Romans 10:14-15 [NIV]
Grace has various missionary interests. The ones below are those that are regularly financially supported.
European Missionary Fellowship (EMF)
This organisation exists to serve evangelical churches through Europe. Grace supports, via EMF, Vito Tangorra who pastors a church in Santa Elisabetta in Sicily.
Our Missions Secretary Julie with her daughter Stacy recently visited Vito and the church in Santa Elisabetta. At one of our Tuesday meetings Julie presented this PowerPoint illustrating her visit, with prayer points for Vito and the church in Sicily:

Christian Witness to Israel (CWI)
CWI seeks to share the gospel with Jewish people. Grace supports CWI’s Field Director in Israel, David Zadok and his work at HaGefen Publishing. Christian literature is translated into modern Hebrew and this is CWI’s main way of ministering to the Jewish people in Israel.
Rehoboth Christian Centre, Blackpool
This church in Blackpool was originally a church plant via the FIEC. It is now an independent church but relies on financial support. It is currently Pastored by Mark Walters.
Reach Across
This is an international inter-denominational evangelistic organisation whose vision is to see Muslims become followers of Christ. Grace now supports Simeon and Gemma Locke who, currently preparing in Paris, are hoping to go and serve the Lord in Mali.
Prayer Support
Please pray with us that…
- the Lord would provide for the entire practical needs of these organisations and individuals serving them.
- He would protect those who serve from danger.
- those who co-ordinate and carry out such work would remain faithful to His Word and would be concerned at all times for the salvation of people and the glory of Christ.
- He would be glorified as the Word is shared amongst all peoples of the world. That people would come to a real saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through the work.
Four times a year Grace invites missionaries or those who represent their work to come and share updates with the church. Other missionary groups are also sometimes invited. Check the Church Diary for such events and please try to support and encourage them in their work through your presence and prayers.
